The Design & User Experience department (DUX) consists of Industrial designers, UX designers and Service designers covering the total user experience of our portfolio. Together we bring user centricity to development projects targeting our human end users.

The DUX department is now looking for a creative, proactive and collaborative UX Design Manager to build a second UX Design section. Are you the one we are looking for?

You will report to the Head of DUX, and lead a growing section of UX talents. You have a curious demeanor, are eager to learn and constantly develop. A positive attitude and loves to collaborate with colleagues in a team. You are used to work in a global environment with many different interfaces and partners. You are proactive and will work smart to remove impediments that your design team will meet. You are flexible and can adapt your mentorship/leadership style as it is suitable for the team and the development phase of the project.

You will drive the continuous development of the competence area and your section including, but not limited to, product platforms, design strategy, networking, securing resources, work methods and team building.

In the role, you will guide, mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative, collaborative and learning culture where the sections and the designers in the department will thrive.be the Job summary here)

You will

  • Drive technology and product leadership in the design and user experience domain
  • Drive flow optimization, innovation and improvements
  • You will enable knowledge sharing and learning
  • In your role you will contribute to, and the messenger of DUX department vision and values
  • Represent the section and the department in different forums in the organization

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A relevant education in UX Design or similar.
  • Proven experience within the UX design field or similar.
  • Creative leadership qualities and good organizational skills.
  • An excellent teammate with integrity, passion, confidence and self motivation.
  • A strong and versatile sense of aesthetics, form and user centricity.
  • A sharp professional toolbox and well-oiled, methodical way of working.
  • Business Understanding
  • Thought leadership capabilities
  • Coaching & Mentoring Skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Passion for people and proven cooperation skills
