Packet Core Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) develop and deliver packet core solutions for mobile networks. With us, you will be part of the next step in development of our products. We enable millions of simultaneous connected mobile users while handling traffic from IoT to 4K video in Gbit speeds. BDGS will become the partner of choice of Telecom operators using the latest technologies in cloud and automation to manage complexity so the ambitious can differentiate with TCO efficient solutions for programmable 4G and 5G networks, automated operations, and digital engagements.

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a SW Maintenance Leader within PDG Mobility to deliver Cloud Native products to meet our new demands for flexible, fast, scalable, innovative 5G-networks.

For every day, we strive to make our products and way of working better than yesterday, integrating continuously as well as listening and delivering to customer as often as possible.

As a Maintenance Leader, you will own the maintenance of our 5G products serving our customers, for example by deliver correction packages and global announcements. You will be part of the global release program where you collaborate with several other leaders and development teams.

The role is based in Lindholmen (our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden), but we also have operations in Shanghai, Madrid, and Beijing, as well as strong dependencies to development in Budapest, Chennai and Bangalore.

You will

  • Secure and maintain the SW releases.
  • Ensure product maintainability at product release assessment.
  • Secure needed Maintenance capacity prioritization (resources, labs, etc.)
  • Secure clear communication to customers regarding product maintenance.
  • Collaborate and cooperate efficiently across organizations.
  • Secure resources and internal drivers for handling escalations for critical faults.
  • Visualize and communicate to the organization product quality status.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Experience and good understanding of R&D and SW development.
  • Knowledge of project management in a Lean and Agile world.
  • Self-driven, result oriented and proactive.
  • Well organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to take decisions and follow through to wanted effect.
  • Ability to quickly involve key people and ensure fast response to changes.
  • Motivated by continuously challenging yourself and the organization.
  • Proficient in English, written and oral.
  • A high curiosity about people, processes, and SW development.
